It’s not your fault and

It’s not your willpower. Weight loss is hormonal.

You know something has changed.

You're eating the way you always have — maybe less. But the weight moved to your middle and it won't move. The cravings are louder. The energy is lower. The diets and routines that used to work have stalled, and every week feels like starting over.

Is this just how my body is now?

So you tried everything. Cutting carbs, more cardio, apps, programs. You did it right — and the scale barely moved.

Just eat less.

Work out more.

It's just your age.

You need to try harder.

You left more frustrated than when you started.
Struggling was hard enough. Being blamed made it worse.

Only 6.8% of medical residents feel adequately prepared to treat women in menopause — not an outlier, the standard.

You asked for help

Dismissed once.
Then again.

Most weight advice ignores what is happening hormonally. What felt like a willpower problem is often thyroid, estrogen, insulin, and metabolism shifting at the same time.
Your weight gain is real. It is treatable.

What has been missing is not another diet — it is an expert medical team who understands how hormones drive weight — and stays with you.

About GLP-1 Weight Loss

How it works.
What to know before you start.

Once weekly. Physician-managed. Lab-monitored. Adjusted for your biology.

  • What It IsGLP-1 therapy

Semaglutide was first developed for Type 2 diabetes. It mimics GLP-1, a hormone that signals fullness.

  • How It WorksSlower digestion

It slows how quickly the stomach empties and helps regulate blood sugar, so you feel full longer.

  • Why Consider ItLess hunger

Because it reduces feelings of hunger, most women naturally eat less while taking it.

  • Before You StartConsult first

Every plan begins with a full consultation and provider review of your health history to confirm GLP-1 is right for you.

  • How It’s TakenOnce weekly

One injection a week at home. We don’t prescribe oral GLP-1s.

  • Side EffectsMonitored closely

Some women notice nausea or GI discomfort as the dose increases. Call us anytime and we’ll adjust.

A Note from

Dr. Andrew Lenhardt,
Chief Medical Officer

After 25 years in medicine, I kept seeing the same patient: a woman with real, treatable symptoms who had been told to wait, to lower her stress, to accept it. I built this practice for her.

Our all-female team are the ones who will know your history and check in with you throughout your program.

I set the standard of care. They deliver it and they will walk with you every step of the way through your program.

You're in great hands. I made sure of it.

Frequently asked questions

The questions women ask us most.

Are there side effects?

Some women notice a constant feeling of fullness, dizziness, fatigue, or GI discomfort such as nausea or diarrhea while the dose is being increased. That's why we start low and increase gradually, and your care team is a call away to adjust your dose, answer questions, and keep you comfortable throughout the program.

Is it a shot or a pill?

A once-weekly injection you take at home. We don’t prescribe oral GLP-1 medications. Most women stay on a once-weekly schedule; your provider sets what’s right for you.

Am I eligible?

Eligibility is more nuanced than a single BMI number. Some women qualify at lower thresholds, and others are a better fit for a different option. The fastest way to know is a quick call with our team. Women with a personal or family history of medullary thyroid cancer or certain endocrine cancers are not eligible for GLP-1 treatment.

Why won’t the belly fat budge?

As estrogen drops, your body changes where it stores fat — often around the middle — and metabolism shifts. That's why diet and exercise alone can stall. We look at the full picture first — your history, your symptoms, your goals — then build your program around it.

What’s the difference between semaglutide and tirzepatide?

Semaglutide is a single GLP-1 receptor agonist that helps regulate appetite and blood sugar. Tirzepatide is a dual agonist that targets both the GIP and GLP-1 pathways, and it carries a higher monthly prescription cost. Your care team will recommend the option that fits your labs, history, and goals.

How do you help protect muscle while I lose weight?

Rapid weight loss can cause the body to burn lean muscle if it isn’t monitored by a healthcare professional. That’s why we increase your dose gradually — and every patient receives our weight management and lifestyle guides, with current recommendations on protein, strength training, and protecting lean muscle.

Why choose Hormonally Balanced over a med spa?

Med spas often offer weight loss shots as a standalone cosmetic service without checking your baseline hormones or offering long-term clinical support. Here, a licensed, physician-led, all-female team reviews your full history first and stays with you throughout your program.
